Objectives:
To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of history taking and physical exam in patients with sciatica. We also aim to evaluate the prognosis of patients with sciatica.
Design:
Data of 3 randomised controlled trials, with similar design and setting, were combined. The study population consisted of patients with sciatica in the Netherlands. The primary outcome is recovery. A multivariable logistic regression analysis is carried out to develop the specific models.
